Using Influencers On Social Media

So you’ve finally taken the plunge and started your business. Congratulations!! Now that you’ve built it, how will they come? Because obviously you have to get your product in front of as many people as possible. What is the most effective way of doing that without breaking the bank?

Well lucky for you and other business owners, we live in a social media society. What that means to you? Social media influencers! They can very much be an asset if used correctly.



Brands are using social media influencer marketing more than ever now to bring awareness to their companies. And it is due to the fact that people are depending more and more upon the opinions of these insta-celebs. They have the ability to reach thousands and sometimes millions of people that you alone probably couldn’t.

Other then the ability to reach the masses, another advantage to using influencers is the fact that it is relatively lower cost marketing. You decide compensation, which can be in the form of either a base payment, a discount or free product. Or a combination of all three. It is totally up to you.

So now that you have been sold on influencer marketing, how do you go about finding them? A quick hashtag search on Instagram will give up a wide variety of influencers or you can join Facebook groups. One in particular that I myself has joined is called Influencers + Brands, here you simply post what type of influencer you are looking for and go from there. Pay attention to the pinned post though, so you don’t get banned.

Again, if used correctly, influence marketing can be a great asset to your brand. There is a reason this type of marketing is growing in popularity.
