An Interview with Erica Noel of Best You Unlimited

Erica Noel is a certified Christian life coach, motivational speaker and the founder of Best You Unlimited. Her mission is to inform and empower women to have strong faith, clear purpose and healthy relationships so that they can win in life.

What was your motivation to start your own business?

The motivation to start my own business came from the desire to help other people through my gifts and have control over my time and the amount of money I can make.

 Walk me through some of the of the first few steps you took to get to where you are today.

The first step I took when starting my business was creating a workflow process to take the client from step 1 to step 2.  And decide how many hours per week to work towards my business.

What has been your biggest challenge so far?

My biggest challenge so far has been balancing marketing, administration and sales before having a budget to hire people.

How did you overcome this challenge?

I assign a certain amount of time per week on each activity.

A young person walks up asking your advice and only has a few minutes, what would be your best advice?

My advice: be in business to help other people through your mission. So when it gets hard you have a why to keep going.
